Welcome back to the start of another exciting and rigorous year at South Valley!  Our staff and faculty have been busy over the summer in preparation for a smooth and successful start and anxiously await the first day of school on Thursday, August 21st.

Some changes have occured since we let out in June.  First, we welcome back Mr. Greg Kapaku, who is continuing to guide and support our curriculum, staff, and students this year as the newly appointed Principal of South Valley.  Taking his place as Vice Principal, we welcome Mrs. Anisha Munshi from Luigi Aprea Elementary School.  With such outstanding leadership at the helm, we know this year will be the first of many successful years to come.

Please make note that our school day has changed since last year.  This year, our "Zero Period" for certain electives will begin at 7:30 AM, with the regular school day and first period starting at 8:30 AM.  The school day will conclude with eighth period at 2:39 PM.  A complete bell schedule can be found here.
